ISSUES FACING WESTON:

How will state finances cause other disadvantageous impacts on Weston?

C.C.J.E.F.

School Security

Weston Republicans in local government set an example...and work in non-Partisan way!

Regional Transportation/Planning:

EDUCATION MANDATE RELIEF
Senator Boucher speaks to the various aspects of this problem - a problem so complex and charged - almost impossible to gain
traction in Hartford for ANY help...and thaat was before C.C.J.E.F.

PEDESTRIAN CIRCULATION PLANNING
Our new representative in the 135th up on issues having particular potential impact on small South Western CT towns' budgets;

TRIAL ON LAWSUIT ON FAA OVER - NO APPEAL HEARD AT SUPREME COURT
FAA re-routing of flights over CT - what did you say?  What was that???

Transit Oriented Development (T.O.D.) and other outside funding
Will Weston try for a grant to unify circulation in and around its government-commercial center in 2017?
How about safety?
"Stimulous Package" focus on transportation or cities be useful for Weston?

Energy, etc.:
EVERSOURCE is the new name for CL&P/NU.

National politics:
What is the outlook for 2016 Election results turning into action?
